Summary

Recur has no accounts, no bank connection and no server of its own. The payments you enter stay on your phone.

Data stored on your device

The subscriptions and bills you add (names, amounts, currencies, dates, categories, notes and payment history), your reminder choices and app settings are kept in the app's private storage (and in your phone's own Android backup if you use it). We never receive them. Recur never asks for bank logins or card numbers.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect and use your device's advertising ID, approximate location (from your IP address), ad interactions and diagnostic data to show and measure ads, as described in Google's policy. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Purchases

Recur Pro is sold through Google Play. We don't receive your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether you own Pro.

Notifications, widgets and export

Reminders are scheduled on your phone and widgets read your data directly from the app. If you export a CSV file, it is saved where you choose; Recur does not send it anywhere.

Deleting your data

Everything Recur stores is on your phone. To delete it, delete payments in the app, clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → Recur → Storage → Clear storage), or uninstall the app. We keep no copy, so there is nothing to request from us. Advertising data held by Google can be managed in your Google account.

Children

Recur is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
